Chulu East Peak climbing - 19 Days

Chulu East Peak is one of the popular Himalayan peaks of Nepal situated high above the Manang valley. Nepal Mountaineering Association has categorized Chulu East as ‘trekking peak’. It has a long, defined North-East ridge which is considered a good route to approach its peak. Chulu East peak climbing offers an inspiring view of Annapurna  I, II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho peak and Manaslu as well as into Tibet to the north. The trekking part of our advance towards Chulu East takes us through Annapurna region to Marshyangdi Valley, experiencing a wonderful variety of landscape, from the lower subtropical reaches to the upper valley with its terraced fields and rhododendron and pine forests.

This is essential that you should be physically fit and have some alpine climbing experience to climb Chulu East. Skills in using crampons, harness, ice ax, tying knots, and handling climbing ropes is an advantage. However, Satellite Treks & Expedition will offer you a team of highly skilled and trained high altitude climbers and Sherpas to tackle this adventure.
