Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel, Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Satellite Treks And Expedition assists to warm welcome and receive and take you to the hotel. Take a rest. We will organize a pre-trip gathering at your hotel and present your trekking guide. You can have a consultation with a guide regarding your ongoing trekking. In the evening upon our reception, satellite Treks And Expedition will organize a welcome dinner at an excellent traditional Nepalese cultural program as well as a final meal and then Overnight at the hotel as per your booking

You will be taken for a sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley to explore the vibrant city after breakfast at your hotel. Drive to famous Buddhist Stupa Swayambunath, also known as Monkey temple, on the hill of Kathmandu Valley where you can see the stunning view of mountains and the Kathmandu valley. This temple attracts Buddhists and tourists from around the world. Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire are visible from far and wide. Next is Pashupatinath, the temple of Lord Shiva. This is probably the most famous temple for Hindu in Indian Sub-continent. There is a crematorium beside the temple where dead bodies are burnt to ashes. After exploring Pashupatinath you will visit fascinating sights of Patan Durbar Square, one of the most glorious examples of traditional Nepalese architecture, full of centuries-old temples and palaces.

We take you to the Kathmandu domestic airport to make you fly to Lukla from Kathmandu inthe early morning with pack breakfast or take breakfast in Lukla and Trek (2:30hrs) to Phakding (2652m) where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation on full board basis.

After having breakfast at the same teahouse/lodge your trek begins from Phakding toward Namche Bazaar (3500m) which takes about 5-6 hours through colorful Khumbu villages where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis

Today is the rest day for you, but you may hike to famous Everest View Hotel (3800m) (3hrs) to catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest and back to Namche, visit Hilary and Sherpa museum. You get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis at the same.

Today you trek about 5-6 hours from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3800m), visit significant Buddhist monastery where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation on full board basis

From Tyangboche you start trek to Dingboche (4400m) which takes about 4-5 hours, catch glimpses of Lhotse and Ama Dablam where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis.

Despite being the rest day we will be visiting the beautiful Dingboche Monastery today. We will then hike up to the Sherpa village of Chhukung. The main purpose for visiting here is to get stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Tawache and Everest. After spending some time here we go back to Dingboche, and overnight at Dingboche.

You begin your trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4900m) after having breakfast, on the way lunch, which takes about 5 to 6 hours where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation on full board basis.

Today’s trek is beginning from Lobuche after having breakfast, Lunch at Gorakshep, lodge/tea house check-in and trek up to Everest Base Camp(5150m) and back for overnight accommodation in full board at a teahouse/lodge at Gorakshep (5120m). The total trekking time is about 4 hours.

In the early morning, you are magnate to explore the dramatic view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse etc. towering from Kala Pattar (5554m) and after having breakfast you will be taken back to Dingboche (4260m) via Lobuche (5218) from Gorakshep where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis.

The return journey is much easier losing heights every hour. This day we lose approximately 760 m in elevation. After a short climb to Pheriche pass, walk downhill with few tiny short ups to reach Pangboche and then descend to the Imja River after crossing suspension bridge trek through the cool forested area to Debuche and then half an hour uphill to Tengboche. We descend through pine and Rhododendron forest t0 Phungki Thanga where we can spot mountains goats, pheasants, and other wild animals and birds common to the area. After crossing the bridge over Imja Khola second time, the path eventually goes up to Sanasa (Khumbu Junction) from where we can enjoy views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Nuptse mountains, then we walk on smooth trails made by Pasang Sherpa all ways to Namche Bazaar and Overnight accommodation in the lodge at Namche Bazaar.

After breakfast, we trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through several local villages. Our arrival in Lukla brings an evening in our last Tea House and, traditionally, a party with your trekking crew: you made it! Thanks to great teamwork and perseverance, you’ve accomplished a physical feat of which others only dream. This was your last night on the mountain, which can be bittersweet.

From Lukla taking an early morning flight back to Kathmandu with views of mountains, at the Kathmandu domestic airport, our staff transfers you back to respective hotels with the rest of the day free at leisure.

This day is the last day for yours in Nepal as per your schedule. After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will take you to the airport.
