NAMESTE! Satellite Treks And Expedition heartily welcomes you to the Beautiful country Nepal. We will meet you at the International Airport at Kathmandu. Our Companies Representative will be there holding placard on which either the company or client's name will be printed just opposite of the arrival and ager your reception, we will transfer you to the hotel. After your arrival at the hotel, we fix the schedule for a short orientation meeting which gives you some general information about the trip and will you settle the rest of the due payment at the same time. For this, you have to be three copy of passport size photos, a copy of the passport and copy of travel insurance.
After breakfast, we first get you familiar with the Kathmandu valley by taking you for sightseeing. We first take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore the beautiful complex of palaces, temples, shrines, and courtyards built by the ancient Nepali kings between the 12th and 18th century. We also take you to swyombhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath then after we will take you to Thamel – the vibrant tourist area with hotels, restaurants and outdoor shops. Briefing hotel where we will be discussing the technicalities of the trek. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner with cultural Dance. Overnight stay at Hotel
After an early breakfast, our guide will come to receive you at the hotel and we drive to the airport to catch a flight to Lukla. The flight takes around 40 minutes and offers stunning views of Nepal’s mountainous landscape. In Lukla, you will meet your porter and the trekking begins. Manjoo is our destination today and can take three to four hours. From the beginning, you will experience rhododendron forests and views of snow-capped peaks, and overnight in teahouse.
Today we make a challenging hike to Namche Bazaar (3,450 m), situated at 4 hours walking from Monjoo. We climb up along the west bank of the Dudh Kosi to the tiny village of Toktok. We get our first glimpse of Thamserku peak (6 608 m) and reach Benkar (2 710 m). The cliffs above the village are decorated with huge paintings of Buddhist deities. We cross the colorful suspension bridge and enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo (2 840 m). After Jorsale we follow the riverbank over gravel, climb through a pine forest and cross the Dudh Kosi by a big suspension bridge. Then we face a continuous zigzag ascend of 2 hours through dense pine forests. In the early evening, we reach the vibrant center of Namche Bazar, one of the most attractive settlements of Solu-Khumbu district, Overnight stay at lodge Namche Bazaar.
It is an ideal place to spend acclimatizing with the high altitude. For acclimatization you walk up to Khumjung where you can visit a monastery. You can also enjoy the splendid views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawoche, and Kwangde and so on. Or you can take an hour's walk up to Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for outstanding views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. Stay overnight at lodge.
Trek to Tengboche (local name called) (3,800 m), 5-6 hour long hike from Namche Bazaar. The first part of the trail is a winding smooth path which offers fantastic views of Mount Everest (8 848 m), Thamserku (6 618 m), Ama Dablam (6 814 m). After the trail goes down to the riverbank and then we make a strenuous about two ascents to Tengboche. We walk through rhododendron forests where musk deer and Himalayan ‘tahr’ or mountain goat lives. At the Rest place, you can enjoy the views towards Kantega mountain (6 783 m). Tengboche, is famed for the Buddhist Tengboche Monastery (where you can attend the daily Puja), Cafe Tengboche and the viewpoint. Overnight stay at lodge Tengboche
Today we descend through a beautiful forest, then cross the Imja Khola before trekking through the village of Pangboche. We don’t lose altitude today as we do on other days and you will enjoy views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and other peaks. The route continues through pastures to Dingboche – known as the 'summer valley, Overnight stay at lodge Dingboche.
Despite being Rest day we will be visiting the beautiful Dingboche Monastery today. We will then hike up to the Sherpa village of Chhukung. The main purpose for visiting here is to get stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Tawache and Everest. After spending some time here we go back to Dingboche, and overnight at Dingboche.
The onward journey leads north for up to 50 minutes until you come to a Mani-prayer Stupa. The trail follows a downward path to Pheriche village. Today's walk offers views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. After two hours walk, the trail from Pheriche joins near Dugla (4595m) before a small wooden bridge over the river of Khumbu glacier. Stay overnight at lodge.
The Lobuche, ascend to Gorak Shep (5 150m) becomes steeper and rougher as we cross several moraines. Soon we see the peak of Pumori (7 145m). We also have our first views at Nuptse (7 864 m), Kala Pattar (5 545 m) and Mount Everest. At the right side, you look over the Khumbu Glacier, an enormous tongue of ice which marches down the slopes of Everest. We reach Gorak Shep by lunchtime and trek to Base Camp in the afternoon. In total, we hike six-seven hours today. We sleep in a lodge at Gorakskhep, a semi-permanent village at the bottom of the Khumbu Icefall. We enjoy our wonderful in the shadow of the highest peak in the world! And Overnight stay at Lodge in Gorakshep.
Early morning we climb to Kala Pattar – the Black Rock – located at 5 545 m and marked by a tangle of prayer flags. At this viewpoint – one of the most astonishing views on earth- you have a 360 Degree panorama of Himalayan giants from Pumori and Lobuche West to Nuptse, Lhotse and, Everest. We return back to Gorak Shep via the viewpoints of the ice lakes of Pumori and Everest. After breakfast we return in 4 hours back to Pheriche located at (4270 m), overnight stay at lodge Pheriche.overnight at Pheriche.
Today's trail is not too much up and down following a gradual ascent, thought a forest to the Phorste. This is the beautiful remote village in Khumbu region with spectacular mountain scenery. Meet with the local people and chat with them if you like. The trek is about 5-6 hours today.
This day we move from there seeing the beautiful Amadablam mountain which gives us heavenly pleasure. Apart from that cliff walking, Beautiful Phortse Sherpa village, Gokyo Get way valley, explore more pleasure to each trekker. On the path, we will enjoy with separate Sherpa culture and Everest summit. Land of the mountain goat and other Himalayan bird's presents a very interesting and memorable environment.
After breakfast trek around one and a half hour up to the Khumjung, at the foot of the sacred Khumbi Yul Lha. The village of Khumjung is situated near the peak of Khumbila, from which this region is named. The local monastery is well known for housing what is purported to be the scalp of the infamous Yeti. You will leave Khumjung passing through the school where Sir Edmund Hillary raised funds. His legacy and the great work he started here still continue. You will head towards Namche where you’ll spend a few hours before we leave for fakding. As you reach the peak of the mountain you are destined with spectacular views of Namche from above. There is a very distinct tree line that you notice as you trek through the mountains. As you descend landscape continues to become greener. Beautiful waterfalls and streams are common as you walk down.
After an early breakfast, your final day's trekking follows the Dudh Koshi back down to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu Airport, domestic terminal and just five kilometers to get the tourism heart of Nepal Thamel, get fresh, go massage give some relaxation to your tired shoulder and shoring legs. In the evening, you will enjoy farewell dinner and exchange your experience of the entire trip with us, and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
This day is the last day for yours in Nepal as per your schedule. After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will take you to the airport.
