Jomsom Muktinath trek takes you to the town of Jomsom which is famous for Thakali hospitality and Himalayan biodiversity. The trek begins with a mountain flight from Pokhara to Jomsom though travel by land is also possible. Located at an altitude of Jomsom is the administrative center of Mustang district and is home to Thakalipeople. Here you will be able to appreciate the Thakali culture and hospitality. A day’s walk from Jomsom will reach Kagbeni, another historical town inhabited by Thakalis.
Overnight stay in Kagbeni, the next day you will head towards Muktinath (3800m), a sacred site of both Buddhists and Hindus. Muktinath literally means ‘god of salvation’. It is believed that taking a bath in its 108 water sprouts will rinse one of all sins. Muktinath houses a statue of Avalokiteshwaraunder which sits the eternal flame. Along the trekking route, you will cherish the spectacular views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. You will return to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara.

After breakfast, we first get you familiar with the Kathmandu valley by taking you for sightseeing. We first take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore the beautiful complex of palaces, temples, shrines, and courtyards built by the ancient Nepali kings between the 12th and 18th century. We also take you to swyombhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath. Briefing hotel where we will be discussing the technicalities of the trek and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
After having your breakfast in Kathmandu, we can drive you to the Domestic Airport to take a 25-minute flight to Pokhara or if you wish to explore Nepal more, you can take a Tourist Car/bus to Pokhara about 6-7 hour. The drive includes short stops for lunch and breakfast and guarantees the enjoyment of charming beauty all the way around. In the evening, a boating trip on Phewa Lake will be followed where you can pleasure the spectacular views of Annapurna Himalaya Range reflected in all its glory in the calm green water of the lake and also visit Bindavasini Temple lying uniquely in the middle of the lake, and overnight at Hotel.
You begin your trek to Kagbeni followed by the bank of Kali Gandaki River. En-route, you pass through arid part of Kali Gandaki river. Stay overnight at lodge.
The trail steeply ascends for a couple of hundred meters. You can enjoy beautiful deserted landscape, caves, old Tibetan style villages, apple garden, yak herds, sheep herds and so on. Stay overnight at lodge.
The trail descends very quickly to the valley floor more than 5,000 ft. Below through a dramatic arid landscape. From Muktinath to Jomsom, we see people from Mustang who comes to sell handicrafts to pilgrims. Among them, merchandise is the highly revered mollusk fossil called Shaligram. We will pass some ancient caves and view the impressive white snow-capped mountains. We transit at the significant town Kagbeni. Enjoying the plateau we will reach Jomsom by vehicle or walk to Jomsom and overnight at Lodge.
After breakfast, we take our flight back to Pokhara and spent a day here. You're free here to feel the moderate climate and sceneries of this Magic land or Dream Land of Nepal. Today you will be free or can look around the lakeside area by yourself and stay overnight at Pokhara Hotel.
Take a flight or drive by tourist bus/Private car in Kathmandu. In the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying the Nepali cultural dinner show, taking some beautiful snaps and making up your mind for the returning journey. You can have a greeting exchanging among friends and with all Nepalese people.
This day is the last day for yours in Nepal as per your schedule. After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will take you to the airport.
