Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter is a suitable program for those visitors who are willing to visit this place with an easy and fast way. This holy journey starts from Lucknow to Nepalganj by helicopter, Nepalgunj to Simikot by scheduled flight and from Simikot to Hilsa by chartered Helicopter Service. From Hilsa (Nepal China border), the pilgrims picked up by deluxe coach and transferred to the Border Town of Tibet Taklakot/Purang, from there they proceed towards the exotic travels of Kailash and Mansarovar.

Important Information about Kailash Manasarovar Yatra

Risk and Liabilities:
We will do the best to make your journey smooth and as pleasant as possible. However, the entire program in Tibet is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of China and  Tibet Tourism Bureau. Therefore, Satellit Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd .& it will not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restrictions, landslides, road blockages, flood, snow, and any unforeseen types of obstructions, cancellation/delay of flight, delay due to late permit and Visa, illness or accidents. The pilgrims shall have to bear all extra costs incurred, if any, above mentioned obstacles, arise during the Yatra by themselves. 
Document:
Passports with a minimum of 6 months validity and two copies of passport size photographs.
Fitness:
This is not a trek or expedition, but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think they are able and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult their doctor prior to embarking on this trip. Morning and evening walk, jogging, stretching, meditation, and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.
Food and Beverage:
We will serve you the purely vegetarian delicious continental & Indian meals; Breakfast and Dinner in hotels, served by trained Nepalese staffs. Packed lunch will be provided at the time of Kailash Parikrama.
Clothing and Necessities:
As the temperature greatly varies between day and night (from max. 16 degrees Celsius to min. –10 degrees Celsius) one should be prepared accordingly.
Bring the following items with you:
Woollen gloves, Monkey cap, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woolen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries/bulbs, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, Sweater, Shirt/T-shirts & Trekking shoes etc.
Insurance:
Comprehensive Travel Insurance coverage for Emergency Medical Evacuation if in case of emergency, loss of belongings, and trip cancellation are strongly recommended.

MODEL OF PAYMENTS

  • 22 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the total cost should reach Satellite Treks And Expedition Pvt. Ltd. account by telex transfer with the copy of the passport of the client.

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

  • In case of cancellation, you must send formal written notice to our office. Verbal notice will not be entertained.
  • 20 days before trip departure 15% of total trip cost.
  • 15 days before trip departure 45% of total trip cost.
  • 10 days before trip departure 85% of total trip cost.
  • 07 days and less departure 100% of total trip cost.

Day 1: Lucknow Arrival and drive to Nepalgunj- Overnight in Kathmandu

  • Pickup –We pick up you from Lucknow to Nepalgunj by helicopter and transfer to star hotel at Nepalgunj.
  • Evening – We set short briefing Programmed about Kailash Manasarovar Yatra
  • Meal: Dinner at Hotel
  • Early Morning- Flight Nepalgunj to Simikot (45 Minute). Rest for few hours at Simikot.
  • Morning - Take Helicopter to Hilsa (30min - 12kg weight limit) & wait for other members to arrive at Hilsa (since it is a group visa and everyone have to enter Tibet side in one group)
  • Afternoon- From Hilsa drive to Purang border to Taklakot and stay at the Hotel. We will stay overnight at Taklakot. (On the way we have to pass up to 3 Checkpoints where checking might take up to 1 hr in each post)
  • Meal: Breakfast at Nepalgunj / Simikot, Lunch at Hilsa, Dinner at Taklakot | Hotel: New Purang Hotel
  • All Day - Entire day free for Acclimatization
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Hotel: New Purang Hotel
  • After Breakfast - Drive towards Manasarovar Lake (95 km). On the way, you will have to pass the first checkpoint. Then after driving for 70 km from Taklakot, we will reach Rakshas Tal. On the right of Rakshas Tal, you will see Gurla Mandhata Parvat & first view of Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake. Drive from Rakshas Tal to Manasarovar Lake (25 km).Start Parikrama of Manasarovar Lake (90 km - 3hr by Private A/C Coach). Take a holy dip & perform Puja.
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Hotel: Manasarovar Lake Side Mud House
  • After Breakfast - Drive to Darchen (35 km - 1 hr) and Yama Dwar (8 km) - the starting point for Kora. We will trek to Dirapuk for 14 km. You will visit the North face of Mt. Kailash and touching the feet of Mt. Kailash (Charan Sparsha). Travelers who do not want to trek around (Parikrama) Mt. Kailash can go back to Darchen wait for the rest of the group to arrive from Parikrama.
  • Meal: Breakfast at Manasarovar, Lunch & Dinner on the way during Parikrama
  • Hotel: Mudhouse on the way during Parikrama or Stay in Dormitory Guest House at Darchen
  • NOTE: If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will still be waiting at Darchen (4650m)

 

  • After Breakfast- Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (8 km). About 3 kms before reaching   Dolma La Pass is steep hill and quite difficult to walk. Also descending from Dolma La Pass is the same for upto 3 km. While descending you can see Gaurikund on the right. After walking for about 2 - 3 hrs we will reach Phedi. After some rest we will start trek to Zuthulpuk (12 km trek for 6 hours).
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Hotel:  Stay at the Mud House (Zutulpuk)
  • NOTE: If you are not doing Parikrama, then you will still be waiting at Darchen
  • After Breakfast - After short easy Trek (8 km - 3 hrs), we will reach our Private A/C Coach pick up point. Then drive to Darchen (3 km) and merge with other members who were waiting. From there drive to Hilsa (also we will take a helicopter to Simikot based on situation)
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Hotel: Mansarovar Guest House at Simikot or similar

Fly to Hilsa to Simikot (30 mins) by Helicopter - Fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj and surkhet which takes about 45-minute Surkhet and proceed to Lucknow
