Two hour flight from Kathmandu, you arrive in Lhasa, Our Guide will meet you at airport and transfer to the hotel. On route to hotel you will enjoying with the viewing the YarlungTsangpo River, Bhamaputra river ( Longest and largest river in Tibet) and Lhasa river. After arrive in Lhasa, check in and Refresh. If you feel to go out , then you can go to explore the Potala square, where you will enjoy the fountain with different color and get amazing photos of Potala and around.
After breakfast, first we will bring you the Potala Palace the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. It has been used since the 7th century by the 33rd king of Tibet. Today you will explore gilded burial stupas of past Dalai Lamas and meditation cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet. After Lunch head to Jokhang Temple which was founded by 33rd great king in the 7 century to promote the Buddhist religion. inside you can see the statue of Sakyamuni at the age of twelve. Apart from that, around the temple Barkhor street where you can do kora( Circling the Barkhor street) with pilgrims and locals.
In the morning, you will visit some representative monasteries and place. Norbulingkha Palace, the summer palace of Dalai Lama which is the representative of Tibetan garden with wide space of pavilion and there are many mysterious and valuable treasure in Norbulingkha. Then you will visit Tibet Museum which is near to Norbulingka Palace where you will explore Tibetan culture, value, history, development and life style. After that you will visit Sera Monastery which is one of the three magnificent monasteries in Tibet. The highlight of this monastery school is daily routine Monk debate at 4 PM. They debate the issues of Buddhism with body language, which is one of the classic events of Tibetan Buddhism.
In the morning after breakfast drive to the Ganden Monastery. It is about 60 Kilometers east of Lhasa and is one of the Great three Gelugpa monasteries of Tibet. It is founded by the Great tsongkhapa in 1409. The main sight of serdung , which contains the tomb of Tsongkhapa. Ganden monastery is situated on the Wangpori Mountain with an elevation of 3800m above sea level. This place is very attractive to trek circle around the monastery and you can also see the great Tsongkapa's meditation cave and many religious figure statues and the beautiful views of Lhasa Valley. Back to the hotel for overnight.
