Drive from Kathmandu to Khohalpur via Prithivi Highway to Narayanghat and Mahendra highway to Khohalpur. It takes 10-11 hours and approximate driving distance is 505 Kilometer or 273 nautical miles. With this travelling, we cross the various districts of Nepal such as Katmandu, Dhading, Chitwan, Rupandehi,Kapilbasthu, Argakhanchi, Dang, Bardiya and Banke.Kohalpur is the well organized and Planned city of Nepal and there are various category hotels and Guesthouse. Stay overnight at Kohalpur.
Early in the morning after breakfast,starts drive to manma ( Kalikot) via Surkhet. The total driving distance between Kohalpur to Surkhet is 108 Km which takes about 2 hours drive. After reaching Surkhet we take little times refreshment and continue driving to Kalikot. We will take the lunch available hotel and restaurant on the way. During this trail you will enjoy with exploring various views of Greenery hill, forest, village and amazing geographical structure. We spent the overnight at Manma.
Early in the morning after breakfast, drive to Rara Lake. After a 25 minute drive,we will reach Nagma and continue to rough non paved road till rara lake. With this trail,wewill travel by the age of karnali river, beautiful green forest and village to rara lake which takes about 4 hours drive. After 20 minute drive formTalcha Airport, we will reach and see the small cottage and park our vehicle and walk for 30 minutes to reach the Lake. After reaching Rara we can experience the spectacular view of Raralake from the bank.Walking on the trail, you will reach the hotel for overnight stay. You also have the option to fix tent on the bank of the lake.
After breakfast, you can enjoy the boating in Rara Lake.It will cost NPR 500 for boating per person. If you want to hike there is option to hike for 3 hours to reach Murpha top for exploring the amazing view of Rara Lake. Furthermore, you can enjoy horse riding, village walk on this day and stay overnight at schedule hotel.
After breakfast,drive back to Mamma (Kalikot) following the same route as arrival. Stay overnight at Guest House in Manma, Kalikot.
Early in the morning, we move for Kohalpur. On this trail there are various places for tea rest. We will take lunch on the way and continue drive to Kohalpur. Kohalpur is the place of our overnight.
We will drive back to Kathmandu by the same way. As per your requirement, we will drop you any place of highway.
