Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter is a suitable program for those visitors who are willing to visit this place with an easy and fast way. This holy journey starts from Lucknow to Nepalganj by helicopter, Nepalgunj to Simikot by scheduled flight and from Simikot to Hilsa by the chartered Helicopter Service. From Hilsa (Nepal, China border), the pilgrims picked up by deluxe coach and transferred to the Border Town of Tibet Taklakot/Purang, from there they proceed towards the exotic travels of Kailash and Mansarovar.
Lucknow - Nepalgunj - Simikot - Hilsa - Kailash - Lucknow
Pick from Lucknow and drive to Nepalgunj which takes about 3-4 hours. Arrival at Nepalgunj. Transfer to Hotel in Nepalgunj and overnight stay at star hotel Nepalgunj.
Early Morning – Take Flight Nepalgunj to Simikotwhich takes about 1 hour. Wait the group and Rest fora few hours at Simikot. Morning – Take Helicoptersimikot to Hilsatakes about 20 minute flight with 12Kg baggage limit & wait for other members to arrive at Hilsa (since it is a group visa and everyone have to enter Tibet side in one group) Afternoon – Cross the immigration by walking about 15 minutes from Hilsa and drive to Purang border to Taklakot and stay overnight at Hotel. (On the way we have to pass upto 3 Checkpoints, where checkingmight take up to 1 hour in each post)
After breakfast Drive from Taklakot to Lake Manasarovar which is 90 KM driving distance. You see, first view of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Overnight stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake. You will have enough time to explore and perform your ritual works and stay overnight at Hotel in Manasarovar.
After Breakfast – Drive back to Purang from Manasarovar and continue drive up to boarder and cross the immigration. Take a helicopter and fly to Simikot and stay overnight at hotel. (It depends on the situation and availability of flight. For that situation your guide will coordinate.
We fly back to Nepalgunj from Simikot or Hilsa . You will reach Nepalgunj and proceed to Lucknow.
