Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu international Airport and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

NAMESTE! Satellite Treks And Expedition heartily welcomes you to the Beautiful country Nepal. We will meet you at the International Airport at Kathmandu. Our Companies Representative will be there holding placard on which either the company or client's name will be printed just opposite of the arrival and ager your reception, we will transfer you to the hotel. After your arrival at the hotel, at the hotel's lobby, welcome refreshments will be served and we fix the schedule for a short orientation meeting which gives you some general information about the trip and will you settle rest of the due payment at the same time. If your arrival in the daytime we will take you short city site seen around the Kathmandu Street and in the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner with a cultural dance and if your arrival is delayed, the schedule will be on the next day and overnight stay hotel in Kathmandu

We start our sightseeing tour with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple. Pashupatinath temple is a holy place dedicated to Hindu deity Lord Shiva and regarded as the most sacred Hindu shrine in Nepal. Our next destination is Buddhanath which is the largest stupa in Nepal and a center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. The stupa is designed like a giant mandala which representation of Buddhist cosmos. Our next stop is Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is the smallest district of Nepal which spread over an area 6.88sq. km, 12 Km south –east of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon showcases the splendor of the Golden Age of Nepali art and architecture. Bhaktapur Darbar was built by King Anand Dev Malla in the 9th century; the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site 1979. It has remained a model for heritage conservation since then. At the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will find many fine examples of sculpture, woodcarving, and pagodas dedicated to different gods and goddesses the Nyatapol & Dattaraya Temples, Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows etc. As the evening approaches, you get ready to move to Nagarkot and stay overnight at Nagarkot

Early morning we will enjoy the sunrise view and we will take a small visit around there for exploring the natural beauty of Nepal. From this point, we can see all Kathmandu valley, and back side beautiful village, river, and mountain range give us the heavenly joy then after we move to Chitwan for exploring jungle activity in Chitwan National Park. Stay overnight at the Hotel.

Early morning weak-up and take breakfast and then proceed for canoeing/jeep safari. A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks. Jeep safari by stars forms canoeing enjoys out point covering the distance of about 10 Kilometer with a chance of the seeing rare wildlife. Learn more about the life of the fascinating elephants during a visit to the elephant stable. After all jungle activity in the evening, you will enjoy with cultural dance which is presented by the typical Tharu community of Chitwan. Spend the night at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will explore more about remaining activities of Chitwan national park as your choice and in the afternoon you move for Lumbini and stay overnight at hotel in Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a World Heritage Site 285 km south-west of Kathmandu. This pilgrimage site in Nepal attracts devout Buddhists from around the world, who arrive to pay homage at the Sacred Garden where the ‘Enlightened One’ was born. A famous landmark is the Ashoka Pillar raised by the great Emperor Ashoka who converted to Buddhism. Beautiful temples, stupas enjoy and monasteries built by various international Buddhist communities dots Lumbini.

After breakfast, you have to enter the Lumbini development are for exploring the all fact about Buddha and historical place. Lumbini is hallowed ground as God Buddha was born here in southern Nepal more than 2500 years ago. As a holy birthplace, it is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists forms around the Globe. Many excavations have taken place here around this small town in the southern Terai plains of Nepal. Ruins of the old city are clearly visible and many artifacts were unearthed during the excavation Shakyamuni Buddha was born a prince to the ruler of the little principality. Important landmarks are the Maya Devi temple and the Ashoka pillar. The remains of many ancient stupas and monasteries can, in the surroundings of Lumbini. In the afternoon you drive to palpa form Lumbini it takes about 3 hours drive and palpa bazaar is the place of your today's overnight.

Early morning weak up to catch a glimpse of the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, you will explore more about the palpas historical structure and natural place. Additionally, you will visit Ranimahal which carry the center background of Nepal. Which is build by historical king's to make the happy to her queen. The structure is situated at stupa inside of the two riverboats that make you very splendor. In the Afternoon dive to Pokhara and stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

After Breakfast, you will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. The places we visit are as below:

Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple

Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple is Situated at an altitude of 800m above sea level, it is the second largest lake of Nepal. With the Barahi Island Temple in the middle of the lake, it is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the female force Shakti. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna can be seen in its serene water. The thick forest lies on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake.

Davis fall

Davis fall is locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.

Bindhabasini Temple

Temple is Lies in the center of religious old bazaar. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti. The park grounds offer a fine picnic and relaxing area.

Gupteshwor Cave

The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated at two km from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Devi’s fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.

Seti River Gorges

Carved by Seti-Gandaki is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool & Prithivi highway Bridge near bus park, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.

International Mountain Museum

Mountains and mountaineering have a history of their own. Without preserving it, it will not be long before all the records and evidence will be lost forever. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), established on 1 Nov 1973, initiated the establishment of International Mountain Museum (IMM) in Pokhara. The basic objective for its establishment was made to record, document and chronicle the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world in general and to preserve the saga of the momentous feats in the history of mountaineering in the Himalayan peaks in particular. The foundation stone of IMM was laid on 1 Dec 1995. The soft opening of IMM took place on 29 May 2002 where it was officially opened on 5 Feb 2004.

In the evening you will enjoy at Pokhara lake site to take dinner as you prefer and stay overnight as schedule hotel.

Morning Drive to Sarankot for sunrise views and exploring all around Pokhara and Mountain views then drive back to Pokhara for breakfast and move for Kathmandu by tourist vehicle ( Alternatively you can take a Flight about 30-minute from Pokhara to Kathmandu). Leisure time you can visit our shop in Kathmandu, in the evening we take you farewell dinner at a typical Nepal Restaurant in Kathmandu. stay overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

About Sarankot

Early in the morning, about 45 minutes drive with 25 minutes hike takes us to the top of Sarangkot to see the best sunrise and close views of many mountains like Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail including views of the beautiful the Pokhara Valley and Phewa lake. After we have some breakfast at Sarangkot, it’s a 15-minutes walk down and 45 minutes drive to the hotel in Pokhara. Return to hotel for breakfast.

Early in the morning drive to Tribhuvan be enjoying Airport Domestic Terminal for mountain flight. With this exploration, we will experience on view of all Himalayan range from east Nepal to west Nepal. If the weather is clear flight will take on time otherwise little bit delay for flight. Overall flight hour takes about 1 hour and back to the hotel. Packed your baggage checkout form the hotel and Our Representative will take you to the airport for your flight home. On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer, you can go for Hindu of Kathmandu, Patan, and Kritipur. Apart from that, you can go for Rafting, Bungee jumping, short trekking around Kathmandu valley etc.
