Yala Peak Climbing - 14 Days

Yala peak is situated at the central part of Nepal and which is also part of the Langtang Himal. Walking through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements you reach the wonderful base camp of Yala peak. Yala peak climb offers a delightful short adventure and suitable for all types of travelers and this adventure is a good exercise before joining major high altitude treks and other adventure around Himalaya.  The base camp of Yala Peak is Kyangjin Gompa (3749M). You will have stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7246M), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990M) and mighty Shishapangma (8027M) on the Tibetan side.

Yala Peak is a fantastic beginner's mountaineering trip, to one of Nepal's easier trekking peaks where every traveler can get the test of local culture, tradition old custom in the shade of high central Himalaya with beautiful scenery of rolling green hills, beautiful forest with varies colorful natural flowers and Garden. Just to the north of Kathmandu in the Langtang region, this 5500 meters peak is situated in a beautiful valley of rich grazing pastures and Tamang people. From Katmandu, you drive to Dhunche or Syabrubesi, and after three-days trekking, you can reach the Peak.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel.

NAMESTE! Satellite Treks And Expedition heartily welcomes you to the Beautiful country Nepal. We will meet you at the International Airport at Kathmandu. Our Companies Representative will be there holding placard on which either the company or client's name will be printed just opposite of the arrival and ager your reception, we will transfer you to the hotel. After your arrival at the hotel, we fix the schedule for a short orientation meeting which gives you some general information about the trip and will you settle the rest of the due payment at the same time. For this, you have to be three copy of passport size photos, a copy of the passport and copy of travel insurance. If your arrival at the daytime, in the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner with a cultural dance and if your arrival is delayed, the schedule will be on the next day.overnight stay hotel in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we first get you familiar with the Kathmandu valley by taking you for sightseeing. We first take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore the beautiful complex of palaces, temples, shrines, and courtyards built by the ancient Nepali kings between the 12th and 18th century. We also take you to swyombhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath.B briefing hotel where we will be discussing the technicalities of the trek with a professional guide, checking the trekking gear and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

After breakfast from Kathmandu hotel, drive to Syabru Besi which takes about nine hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. Stay overnight at Tea House.

After breakfast, we cross the first part trail thought Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail gradually ascends up to Bamboo passing through the landslide. Thereafter, your trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. Stay overnight at Tea House.

After breakfast, continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months. Stay overnight at Tea House.

After breakfast, the trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. Here, there is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory and this is the destination for today’s overnight at lodge.

At leisure, a well-deserved rest day here visit a small Cheese factory or walk up to Tsego-Ri or Kyngin Ri at above 4,700 m / 15,420ft which will add more heights of this adventure offers the stunning panorama of snow-capped mountains and stay overnight at Tea House.

The early part of the trail moves along the leveled path till Marku and then leaving Langtang Khola you trek ascent path all the way to Yak Kharka. The views you can enjoy are of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang and others. Stay overnight at camp.

Today’s our Big Day to reach the final destination of the trip. Adventure starting early morning towards Yala Peak summit, the climb leads with less technical difficulties, but takes nearly eight hours to reach the top ridge the summit top and back to base camp.

After breakfast, trek descent path all the way to Kyangjin Gompa. The views you can enjoy are of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang and others. Stay overnight at Tea House.

From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. After lunch, you continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel. Stay overnight at Tea House.

The upper part of the trail is more beautiful for the panoramic view of mountains and green hill views. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Sherpa and Tamang villages. The first half part of the trail is gradually down and then the trail does steeply descent to the Syabru Besi (1600m.). Stay overnight at Lodge.

Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, takes about 8-9 hours. You drive through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Kathmandu. The first part of your drive up to Trishuli Bazaar is through gravel and bumpy road and then well-paved road up to Kathmandu. In the evening we organized a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our journey and stay overnight at schedule hotel Kathmandu.

This day is the last day for yours in Nepal as per your schedule. After breakfast and check out from the hotel we will take you to the airport.
